Citizens for a Better Arizona Canvass Mesa to Recall Russell Pearce

Lirio and Leah get ready to canvass a Mesa neighborhood

Saturday morning was the continuation of the effort to canvass Mesa neighborhoods in Legislative District 18. Volunteers for Citizens for a Better Arizona are currently going door-to-door registering new voters, signing residents up for permanent early voting ballots, and spreading the word of the upcoming campaign to recall State Senate President Russell Pearce.

Citizens for a Better Arizona first held a public press conference on January 10th (Watch the press conference here) to announce their intentions to hold Russell Pearce accountable for his continued attacks on the US Constitution and residents of Arizona.

Citizens for a Better Arizona are looking for people who are interested in volunteering or working part time to canvass Mesa neighborhoods and get petitions signed for the recall campaign. They have already received around $10,000 in pledge commitments from donors to help fund the drive.

The next event in this process is the official filing of the petition to recall Russell Pearce this Monday at noon and to continue implementing the action plan to hold Russell Pearce accountable.

Monday evening, the petition drive will be kicked off at the Mesa Public Library.

If you are interested in seeing this be successful and can devote a few hours of time each week to help get the recall election setup, please attend these events for further information about how you can help.
